Boone County Desperados 4H  State Champion Equestrian  Drill Team  were in Frankfort  as guest of State Representative Addia Wuchner (R-Florence) Wednesday.

After a tour and lunch at the Capital members of the Desperados were honored on the House floor for their accomDesparadosplishments with a special Legislative Citation  and served as Legislative  pages in the House Representatives.

“The Boone County Desperados' success is a great source of pride to our Boone County community and I am so very pleased to recognize  their horsemanship  and  talent as equestrians  here at the Capital,”  Wuchner stated.

The Desperados Drill Team won the 2008 Kentucky State 4-H Horse Champion Drill Team competition at the Kentucky State Fair this past July
